This has been of the most exhilarating and unique projects of 2021! Being able to create public art out in the community is a thrill, and even more incredible when you can’t get enough of the neighborhood you’re working in. Thank you, Inman Square, for sharing in the creation of this hand-painted community piano with me! Hellooooo, pals! Tomorrow is my final day of teaching Alex Makes Art’s Summer SAVI (Social Art Virtual Immersion) after 8 wonderfully unique weeks of programming. 👩🏽‍💻 Taking a month off from kiddos to focus on a new public art piece and map out the next few months of programming. So what’s next? Proposal accepted to *zhuzh up* TWO Community Pianos; one in #HarvardSquare (in the alleyway of @harvardcoop) and the other in #InmanSquare on Cambridge Street, right in front of @1369coffeehouse & the @druidpubcambridge. Can’t wait to dive head first into this painting project. It’s certainly a new experience and one I am amped to take on! Come by and say hi if you’re in the area.
