This outstanding pianist, Marie (also my moms name 🤓) was one of my personal highlights of playing in #Portsmouth. I forget her age (I do think it started with an 8. . .) but it turns out she studied jazz piano in college and man she could still play with some heart! Marie and her daughter Patty were spending some quality time together and were ever so kind and gracious to a street musician playing from morning til’ night during the autumn chill of New England.
