Peru! 🇵🇪 * * We saw so much during this trip: Machu Picchu, Cusco, Sacred Valley, the Amazon, Amantani Island, Colca Canyon, Arequipa, Lima... all in 3 weeks in 2014! My favorite memories: (pictures in order!) —> hiking to Machu Picchu ⛰ * —> waking up to baby alpacas drinking from a stream while hiking 15,000 ft up on the Lares Trail 🦙 —> spotting a jaguar (!) in the Amazon (pic included!) 🐆 * —> staying with a local family on Amantani Island on Lago Titicaca * —> waking up at 3 am to hike 3-hours out of Colca Canyon in time for the sunrise 🌄 * —> playing piano in a park in Lima along the coast 🎹 * —> getting stuck for 3 hours in Cusco during an Easter parade... could have done without that experience 🤷🏼‍♀️ * * #machupicchu #hikingperu #larestrailtrek #peruvianamazon #alpacas #amantaniisland #colcacanyon #limaperu #publicpianos #throwbacktrip
