It& #x27;s truly the first time for my daughter—Fidelya Meisya Al-Gozaly, in a hurry of ‘hunting’ things prior to our leaving for good back home for Indonesia, to experience and bring her piano practice out of a lonely corner of her home into the passing by of unknown people in Den Haag’s central station. . Well, she seems to have missed her teachers and her Dutch friends already, of what people call a sign of mixed emotions. . Not only does my daughter have kind of mixed feeling, myself also has the same as we will leave for good due to my tenure of work being over shortly. . Nevertheless, it is my utmost duty, as a parent, to always keep up my children and to better understand the life of a diplomat. . My daughter, together with her younger sister and brother, has been and will continue to be uprooted from a culture into a different one every a couple of years, while having enough time to build a life in a place, but as soon as they begin to feel comfortable it will be time to leave again. . This kind of situation may not be easy on the life of children whose parents work overseas. . Nonetheless, it is my strong conviction that my children will deal with the aforementioned and thrive in it with full endurance, joy and success. .
