You know that book “If You Give A Mouse A Cookie”? I swear that’s based off my life & my inability to let one project be just ONE project! What started as a fam fun activity 🎨 (the rainbow watercolor painting the kids & I created together), soon led to a frame painting (because gold is so much better, obviously!) & ended with a painted yellow piano 🙈 BUT, did it end? Because as I was painting the piano, I came up with a few more fun ideas for the room 🙊 So, what should my book title be? “If You Give Mom Some Watercolors” or “If You Give Kris A Quart O’ Paint”?

🚂 Fun fact : We have a railroad track that runs down along a ravine behind our home. The same line ran fairly close to our previous home in another city as well. We've always loved listening to & watching the trains (especially when an old steam train goes by 💨) So when I saw this map on @facebookmarketplace of all the US Rail Lines I knew it was perfect for us! Plus, it was already framed! 🙌
