We often paint our fear of failure and our laziness with the colors of excuses. Full of confidence, we declare “I wish I could do this, but...” In Brno I stumbled upon this friendly guy, who was sitting at a public piano, practicing. Apparently, he does this regularly, because he cannot afford to own one, but still is willing to learn. By his playing, I would have never guessed that his access to the instrument could possibly be that restricted. He left, only to come back 10 minutes later to cover the piano, afraid that a storm might get in.
