I never learned to play guitar but wonder how many others feel like I do, that sounds are as important as images in evoking a feeling and sense of place. One of my favourite travel memories was listening to exquisite melodies drifting up to my room from the street below on a hot summers night. It was in a little coastal town in Spain and was the perfect accompaniment to the gentle breeze, scent of the ocean and ambience of the soft street lights. That seems like 𠇏orever ago” but I applaud the effort the local cafes on my side of the world go to in the pursuit of evoking community spirit, inclusiveness and joy. It makes getting a coffee so much more than liquid in a cup.❤️
