My lil Coney Island trip. Came across some interesting elements in my walk. I came across one of those public art pieces and found this handsome lil guy playing the piano. I couldn't resist photographing the moment of a child learning a musical instrument. The scene was just right. I intervened and asked the parents if I can take a picture of him playing and they were kind enough to allow me to take his picture. As I am photographing this young child, the mother was explaining to me on how he saw the piano and wanted to play it cause he loves music and is autistic. I quickly understood her protection, as a mother myself. I had listened to her explain how she talked about her child. I sympathized with her and let her know I understood it and I have a nephew that shares the same autistic world. They are wonderful and smart children. They see the world in a different light and what a beautiful light it is. I was blessed to be able to come across such wonderful people. Gb their lil guy.
