A piano sits outside the Evangel Downtown church in Fort St. John all year long — even in the winter.️ 🎶 It& #x27;s been drawing a range of players, from businessmen to the homeless. 🎶 Tony Warriner, the church& #x27;s pastor, moved the piano outside one summer to add to the downtown vibe. He meant to bring it inside in the winter. 🎶 “We forgot to bring to it back in, Warriner told CBC& #x27;s Daybreak North. "The snow came, it dove to -20C and it got pretty chilly.” 🎶 But that didn’t keep the music lovers away. 🎶 “The traffic on this piano, if anything, almost seemed to increase — it became a bit of a novelty. It’s a winter thing now,” said Warriner. 🎶 “It’s often people you wouldn’t expect who sit down and turn something out.” 🎶 Photos supplied by Tony Warriner | #FortStJohn #piano #winter #winterwonderland #exploreBC #music #pianist #snowdays #BCmusic #publicpiano #DaybreakNorth #CBCRadio
