With our first in-person recital since 2019 coming up this Sunday, we had our students prepare by playing in our backyard (where the recital will be held) today. We recorded videos just in case. We prepared our students for dogs barking, bugs and birds, which were al present. What we did NOT prepare them for is a roofing company using saws, hammers and other loud tools while BLASTING mariachi music. They also would frequently sing along.
